The life of Ralph, Natascha and our cats
She stretched out her hand to me in love.
I have faith to take her hand betrothed
in joining faith and love forever as two doves
Circle high together, free, unfettered
Lasting friendship, wings touched,
A moment to savour. The wind blows strong
The doves now struggle to keep together.
The storm crashes lights and thunder.
The birds cry out as panic befalls them
They separate, lose touch, lost hope..
As sudden as the storm begun
Clouds separate. The rays of sun
Pour down through rain and gloom
Sunbeam searchlights scour the sky
The doves no longer to be seen. But by
A miracle a hand came down gently
Probing, feeling reverently.
Fingers stretched out as straight a die
And onto one finger the doves breathed a sigh
of relief as they alighted together again
No worries, no storm clouds would strain
their love and their faith, As the hand
Descended towards the land.
They look at each other and with a smile
Take a leap of faith and fly the last mile.
The hand waves gently as it disappears
The doves coo together safe throughout the years.

🙂 Take a break now. You don’t HAVE to answer all 115 emails. Pick the ones that are the most important to YOU, and only answer them. Leave the rest. If they are still unimportant in 6 months, you can delete them, or learn to live with big numbers of unread mail like I have. I was a secretary once, and I had a secretary until Aug. You still get behind. You need a wife AND a mother. 🙂 Love, ML

You should write more poetry and attract the romantic ladies, looking for a warm hearted man. I love poetry, but as you probably know, I am a cougar. A heteromantic, grey asexual cougar to be precise.

Heck ! I never realised that being a cougar would be so complex 😉
Once my dating disaster post has died down (which I am publishing just after midnight tonight) I will follow your advice and settle down to write some more poetry. Thanks for the encougarement 😉

I thing being an asexual cougar is a rarity, as not many people know about, or have heard of, asexuality, and that can be quite complex. I hope you find someone who loves you for you and think the pose try will help you to find a suitable romancer.

Sounds good to me ! Good luck with your asexuality 😀

The problem with love is that you often can’t avoid clichés, in poetry with a little thought you can.
