338: The World Of Stupidity

~Blog Problems~

Before my main post you may be experiencing these two blog issues.

1.  SPAM FOLLOWERS

You may be finding lots of Outlook followers, ie. idiotspammer@outlook dot Com following your blog.  To remove them from your Email Followers …. click on My Site on the WP black bar/People/Email Followers/Remove. (I suggest you also put them in spam if they are in your Inbox).

2.  I CANNOT LIKE YOUR POSTS

My avatar refuses to lock on your post Like. I click Like, my avatar shows up, but if I go away and return my avatar has gone.  If you have the same problem, add your complaint to this WP Forum thread.

~Politically Correct Incorrect~

Yes !  We are living in a world of stupidity.  Snowflakes are taking over our words, thoughts and the way we wish to express ourselves and lawmakers are legalising this stupidity.  What happened to COMMON SENSE ?  Watch this !!

Another example is a snowflake complaining about a male only, “DANGER !  Men at work !” sign.  WHAT ??  I think it should say, “DANGER !  Pantomime Dames at work !”.  I reckon that should solve her problem.

This is becoming the new norm !

Kindergarden children in the UK are being forced to listen to transgender men promoting their “sexuality”.  WHAT ??  Stupidity confusing and probably scaring kids with pantomime dames in school ?

I laugh at these “men”, as I have every right to do so, because when I was a kid, twice I was put in situations by men and was once threatened with a shotgun if I told anyone. I was seven !  So recently I laughed at a man in high heels who kicked at pigeons, the gold stiletto flew off his foot and he had to hobble through the pigeon poop to retrieve it.  Have you seen a man trying to walk in high heels ?   One bare foot and one stiletto is even better !  God, it was funny !

Kiddies books are being attacked by snowflakes.  Poor Mr Men is taking a bashing.  More male stories than female.  Where is the transgender ?

Men should be called, “People with budgies in their Speedos”  and women should be called, “People with two bumps in their T-shirts ranging from table tennis balls to footballs”.  Heck, I am becoming a snowflake !

You know how wide ranging this has become.  Politicians are a prime example of stupidity and selfishness.  Luckily for me, there is a new government in Austria which is using common sense at last. But enough, except for one more example of stupidity which is still affecting me.

~My Spanish Bank~

Oh yes, my Spanish bank has also entered the realms of stupidity.  I have been emailing my Solbank  since 2002 with no problems until I arrived in Austria in September 2017.  I could do nothing in Spain as I did not have an Austrian address for them to send me correspondence.  Once settled, I emailed my new address, sent proof of residency and asked for statements to be sent to me.  After many requests and many replies I was told that they do not take instructions by email.  Nothing from them for months until I received a Solbank letter.  Yay !   A statement ?   No !    Just a letter telling me that they are charging me €30 for being overdrawn.  For heavens sake, they refused to send me statements, but had the audacity to send me that !   Natascha and I immediately topped up the account and I really laid into the bank and asked for paperwork to be sent to me to close my account.  I have still heard nothing and they are still taking money from my account, I assume.

~What Do You Think Of That Murli ?~

The main thing that cheeses me off is that their stupidity is being rammed down my throat.  I am not a sheep.  I am a shepherd !

Has Stupidity Reached Your Corner Of The World Yet ?

  1. I was able to rid myself of a few email spam accounts according to your instructions. The odd thing is I was getting many email notifications of new outlook dot com followers with seeming “code” in their names. They never show up listed anywhere else or make any appearance. . I simply set the WP setting to NOT notify me of new followers by email. Now ignorance is bliss. As far as stupidity goes, I live in the USA where we are ruled by stupidity–enough said!
I don’t know what that thing Murli is hiding in.

  2. Oh, that video made my day! 😀 Thank you Ralph … and the rest of your commentary too. Hopefully you can close your account with those idiots and open one a little closer to home.

    • That video was so funny especially at the end with the patting of the head. A video definitely worth sharing with you all Widdershins.
Opening a bank account here in Austria we did on day one after my arrival. Absolutely no problems and they accepted my English documents without a quibble. Everything is working well with the account. I just hope that my Spanish bank finally realises how stupid they have been acting.
It’s a holiday day here in Austria. Ralph 🙂

  3. Has it entered my corner of the world yet? You’ve got to be kidding. We invented political correctness. Have you not heard that universities here have “safe rooms” for college students to go to who are emotional traumatized because someone didn’t agree with their point of view.

    • OMG ! That is really crazy ! Maybe I need to add a safe comment area on this post for any snowflake that may need to cry and comment.
Have a great day Al. Ralph 🙂

  4. We invented stupidity over here.
I hit someones car – they say, “oh, I’m sorry”.
I make a point of crossing the street at controlled intersections, even if I have to walk an extra block or two. The light turns green. I step off the curb and can feel a speeding car race by, my hair blowing beautifully in its wake.
The bank & its on-line users get hacked. The hackers publish some personal info on-line. The hackers demand $1,000,000.00 ransom, or all will be published on-line. I go to the bank. They ask why I don’t bank on-line?” When I reply, “You just got hacked!” They ask, “is that a problem?”
When private industry …. oh never mind… it’s way to stupid.
Even my smart phone is stupid.

So, Murli is a glamour girl!!! Love, love the shots. Now, cats are not stupid!
All hail the cat… or dog!
    Love Resa

  5. That mono-tinted snowflake IS a flake. She’s upset because she got called out. Will this stop her from doing it again? No. Great video though – loved it. 🙂 There’s lots of idiocy to go around, but we parents didn’t help matters by creating these delicate little flowers.

And Murli looks very comfortable in her den. Too bad they don’t come in human size. 🙂

    Liked by 2 people

    • You are right about the delicate flowers dear Lynette. It seems that some parents leave these kids alone with smart phones and goodness knows what these kids get up to online. The stupidity goes on, I have just read in an online newspaper about a computer game where one can shoot up a school. How crazy is that ?
Murli’s favourite spot at the moment is an empty cardboard box. She loves it in there. Each one to their own I suppose.

  6. I live near San Francisco Ralph where alternate sexes are invented every day. I lost count long ago – it’s impossible to be politically correct all the time so people are going to have to lighten up. Sorry about the bank…

    Liked by 1 person

    • Wow ! I never realised that there are many different alternate sexes Jan. Crazy ! I agree. It is time that these people lighten up a bit and realise that normal people are fed up with their antics.
That’s okay. I am sorry about the bank too 🙂

  8. Yes Ralph, Stupidity reins King here as well! Snowflakes are annoying and obviously appearing everywhere! BTW, I am having real issues seeing posts and being able to like certain follower’s posts. Although I follow you on WordPress, the only way I even knew about this post was to check my e-mail. Not to worry though, I always check to see what you’re up to!

So sorry to hear the Mr. and Little Miss books are coming under fire, Kids love them!

    • *back of my hand on top of my head* Yes, the poor little snowflake really does need to wake up to the realities of life.
These people are attacking practically everything written now, including Shakespeare. I agree that you Linda, my wifi, the Mr Men books are not only an educational tool for kids to learn to read, but are collectable and a lot of fun for them. It is such a shame to lose such books if those idiots get their way. I do hope that common sense prevails in the end.
Have a lovely weekend my friend. Ralph xox ❤

  12. Hi Ralph. Yes i am having both of the above WordPress problems – very annoying!
Also, don’t get me started on banks…
I have been trying for a year and a half to prove to my English bank that i live in Spain (I have in fact lived at my current address for nearly 4 years!). I have probably struggled (half-deafly) through a dozen phone calls with a lady with a very strong indian accent, which i find very difficult to understand (I am no racist…but with hearing loss it means i find anyone with a strong accent difficult to understand) answering personal questions. i have been into a branch in England nearly 10 times with various pieces of evidence that show that i live where I do..Yet they still don’t believe me! The irony is, that they send me letters to the Spanish address (where I live!!!) telling me they need evidence that I live there!!!! The only thing I could possibly provide is a bank statement from my Spanish bank (coincidentally Sabadell!) – but as the statements are not in the same format at the England ones, they can’t be accepted!!!!
    Ugh!!!
Anway, i hope you and Natascha are well and enjoying married life.
    Love from Spain
    Carly

    • Oh no ! What is the matter with banks nowadays ? I am so sorry to read what you have been going through with your UK bank dear Carly. You have probably thought about this already, but maybe I can suggest contacting your abogado, get him/her to write to your bank on your behalf stating (with backup documents) that you are permanently living in Spain and get a notary to stamp it. I know it will cost, but I cannot think of anything else to suggest my friend. Good luck and I hope your problem will soon be resolved.
Yes, Natascha and I are happy and enjoying married life.
Take care. Love Ralph xox ❤

  13. The stupidest thing I can think of to date is the people who say you shouldn’t assign babies gender at birth, but wait and let them choose it. What??? Gender is in your DNA, in every cell of your body. People are either XX or XY and no matter what they do to change their physical appearance they can never change that. It is who and what you are.

    Liked by 1 person

    • Spot on LB. How crazy is that ? There is a school in the UK that has stopped boys races and girls races. It’s now all-in, free-for-all races in case some kid is transgender. What ? Ralph xox ❤

      Like

      • Not good for the girls. The whole reason for having separate girls sports is because they physically can’t compete with the boys. You might get the exceptional girl here and there, but the majority of them don’t stand a chance. So it ends up back to the days when sports were just for boys.

  14. I’m afraid the world has gone mad my friend. I’m glad to hear Austria is normal cuz not much else is. And call that damned bank and close the account. I hate hearing about innocent victims being taken advantage of as if you haven’t been through the mill already!
I do hope married life is wonderful despite the agro that finds you. 🙂 ❤
