Karma & My Cats Greatest Sayings

And so it goes on !  The soap opera of my new neighbours (NewN)  has escalated !

The builder friend of theirs (who we suspect knifed Pedro’s car tyres) is the only one who parks his car on the illegal yellow lines he had painted.  There are no permissions or legal signs.  Woe betide anyone else who parks there !

The other day the NewN wife apologised to Pedro, but too late as Karma was at work.

Just after midnight on the 23rd another almighty CRASH ! from next door in my Spanish village.  So loud !

Morning came.  It seems that someone doesn’t like the NewNs.  There were rocks scattered on their first floor balcony and ……….

….. what looked like old engine oil thrown over their garage and front door.  What a mess !

Karma had been busy !  And it wasn’t me !  This is my car  🙂

Enough of that !  Now for some fun !

~My Cats Greatest Sayings~

Now THAT is a quote worth remembering !

Well done Coo Coo !

Excellent China Cat !

NO !  Definitely not.  There is no way I am going to publish your greatest sayings.  Never, I repeat, NEVER !

Ummm …. okay.  On second thoughts.  Oh boy !

Is it you whom I am totally in love with ?

Don’t be shy  😊

Definitely ! I have a choice of forgiving them or getting my own back. I think a bit of both is in order 🙂

Indeed ! This is the sort of Spanish village where the only excitement should be a herd of goats escaping onto the road.
lol. Thank you Dr Jan for certifying me as sane. Made my day !

I know. It’s awful, isn’t it ? This afternoon was really hot and they spent most of it cleaning up their house front.

Yes they have ! The young family downstairs have an alibi as they were with friends when all this happened. Most of the Spanish villagers are related or friends, so if something happens to one, they all know and one for two may retaliate off their own back. Anyway, I hope this is the end of it or I may have more post fodder. 🙂

  1. that is so crazy – like you live in a bad reality show. you know it’s bad when the cats are the voice of reason. )

Luckily I am not in the bad reality show, I just watch what’s going on. For me it has been lovely as I had visitors on Saturday evening, a couple of Spanish lady friends (both married 😦 ) and they bought me a cake. Can’t be bad ! My cats are not getting any as they have been up to their tricks with me in this post.

  2. Love those quotes, the china cat one I think is the best…. I am sure your neighbours make more enemies than friends there the way they are, so as you say that’s Karma. Glad you are ok and that the sun is hot again! I’m thinking of a holiday in the sun again. 🙂

lol. China Cat has a way with words, doesn’t she ?
I really did think that this was the end of it until what happened in this post. I really don’t know how the whole affair is going to pan out, but I hope this is the last of it.
Yes, the weather has been lovely for the end of February. Yes, maybe it is time for you to have another holiday in the sun.
Toni told me this morning while she was cleaning my apartment that the school has closed for a week which was unexpected. She doesn’t know why.

  4. Argh what a horrible situation for you and the young couple. the neighbours from hell are still there and attracting enemies. They are so negative. Onto the cats, well they are clever felines to come up with those quotes. And of course they are still blackmailing you. lol I adore the cats and the cuckoo clock. Have a great week my friend. :):)

Once again you are spot on with your comment. I don’t think my new neighbours are negative, but more probably selfish. As for my cats I don’t stand a chance, do I ?

Yep, it’s still going on, but hopefully this is the last of it.
lol. My car is lovely, isn’t it ? It does infinite miles to the gallon of gas, but 60 yards to the gallon of sweat and has solid tyres so can’t be stabbed. Due to my appalling driving I may have to to get a reversing beeper, orange flashing light and satnav. I gave away my real car a few years ago as it was agony on the soles of my feet when pushing the pedals.
Big hug for you my friend. Ralph xox ❤

  6. Well, well, well,
    I don’t have a bell,
    But if I did
    It would sound like:
    Mew, meow, mew.
You see, Ralph, for those of us whose cats dominate life at home, everything is a mew or a meow. There is no escape from the wisdom (and paralyzing cuteness) of our feline rulers.
Having said that, J&J send purrs to S&S.
    Are your neighbours moving, yet?
OR… are they building a wall with the stones & rocks they are collecting from their balcony? Are they related to trump?
Do they understand that in their case Karma is actually….. CARMA?

    Much love,
    xoxo ❤ <#

S&S say thank you to J&J and are looking forward to making a post with them some time in the distant future.
No, the new neighbours have not moved as yet, but have metal grills covering all the doors and windows on the ground floor and an alarm system installed. Seems like they are making a prison for themselves. I have no idea what they did with the rocks. I’ll ask Fred Flintstone 😉
      Haha. CARMA !
Love and hugs. Ralph xoxox ❤ #<

Not quite all. There are three men and a blogging teddy bear that I do follow. When I first started blogging I was following over 300 blogs. I found that too much to visit, so, over time I had to be very brutal and cut way back to the number of new posts I can handle. I think I have it just right now. Even so I go into my Reader now and again and make adjustments. Anyone who likes or comments on my post gets a visit from me unless I am following them.

I am sorry about these goings on, are still going on, Ralph. We have had dreadful problems with builders on the block next door to us, so I understand how stressful things like this can be, even when you are not responsible for any of it.

What more could a man ask for ? 🙂

  13. Good Day, Ralph, I started with “Good Morning” as I look out a a lovely pink sunrise with cirrus clouds and quickly realized the time difference. Speaking of time difference, do you do something ridiculous called “Daylight Savings Time” in Spain? I don’t know of anyone who likes it, but they go through this in the U.S. in most places this Sunday and then we do it in Mexico about a month later. In retirement it doesn’t bother me so much, but it threw me off for about a week (twice a year) when I worked–along with the kids I taught. Insane!

So, NewN’s got what was coming to them! They certainly deserve it and they must have upset some others along the way because I can’t see you doing this or the lovely family that was so mistreated. Oddly, I take no joy in the revenge. I doubt it will change NewN’s for the better and will probably just make them more disturbed and disturbing in their encounters with others. You have to wonder what brought them to this point.

But, on to the good stuff. Your cats are definitely out of control–especially China Cat! Can’t you bribe them with treats? Blackmail, bribes, vandalism–the intrigue never stops on your blog. We do need to clear up one thing though. This “Kate” woman thinks she is the one you are in love with. Excuse me! Don’t forget I accepted your offer to be your wifi! This is not a deal to be taken lightly.

I love your “car.” Be careful where you park it; I hear you live in a dangerous neighborhood. I wouldn’t want you to go out one morning to find all 2 tires flat. And for heaven’s sake–STAY AWAY FROM THE YELLOW LINE!

    • Hello and a very early good morning Linda 🙂

It’s 1am, still an hour or so before I go to bed so I have plenty of time to answer your very long and fun comment. There must be about eight hours difference between Spain and Mexico. So I reckon it must be about 5pm on the previous day where you are.

Yes, I do have to change my six clocks twice a year. Normally the only way I know is when my laptop time does not match the clock on the wall. A couple of weeks to go to the next change !

The new neighbours have gone very quiet, the frontage has been cleaned and village life as returned to normal. Thank heavens !

lol. Bribery is out of the question. If I give my cats treats, they’ll expect it as a norm. I would never hear the last of it ! 🙂

Oh dear, I knew I would get into a muddle with women. Of course you are my proposed wifi, but I just can’t resist a woman called Kate, who plasters lipstick all over her face in a photo booth. There I am in Spain, you are in Mexico and Kate is in Australia. Maybe I should meet you both down at the pub this evening to sort this out.

Thank you for the warning. I’ll ask China Cat to guard my “car” 🙂

Have a lovely evening my friend. Ralph xox ❤

  14. Oh, MFR, that’s a silly ending question. Everyone knows you are totally in love with me! 🙂 Oops, is there an echo in this box, or did someone else’s box say the same thing? I can’t think about that right now. I’m too upset at the NewNs. They are bringing down our whole neighborhood. Bad enough that they pick on others, but oil on the garage door, that’s the down slide of the neighborhood. A slick fini. Hate spilling all over. NewNs have to go. So what’s the plan, MFR? Let’s get these oily characters out of here! 🙂

      Shush, don’t tell everyone !
I am not sure whether the new neighbours are going to move as they are spending a fortune on doing the house up. See what happens.
It’s starting to warm up here in Spain, 28°C tomorrow. I do hope that the storms that you had in Northern California did not affect you too much my friend.
      Hugs. Ralph xox ❤

On to other topics. We had water in the creek behind our house, but no overflow of the dam. If that happens, I’ll let you know. It will be catastrophic! The sequoias will come tumbling down into our back yard. 🙂 Beautiful weather the last few days. Probably about like yours. To the NewNs. If they are spending a fortune, they may be doing a flip. You can hope! 🙂 Lots of love, MFR to your and your NewNs. Kill ’em with kindness. 🙂

      • At this point, a few days later, the rain has let up. The ground is absorbing the water well. Several people have had septic tank problems because of the high water table. We have been lucky. That’s not fun. 🙂 I don’t know what I’m going to do about my jealousy over those other 2495 women. I guess I’ll just have to learn to deal with it. They should all write a post about how they are dealing with their jealousy. 🙂
