Wild Cat Strike & New Posts

Oh boy !   My cats have gone on a wild cat strike !

Their demands are >>>>

1.  More sleeping hours.

2.  They are fed up with being paid kitty litter wages.

3.  They want more fur brushing with new cat-a-combs.

4.  Their baskets to be fluffed up at least twice a day.

Sometimes I wish I was a hard task master

As I am their manager I refuse to bow down to their exorbitant demands.

Back to work cats !

Or the cat will hit the fan !

  1. I’m glad that isn’t your cat jumping on the ceiling fan. Ouch! The other 49+1% are our other half??

    • Ouch, indeed Leslie. I have a ceiling fan in my bedroom which I normally use as a ceiling light. When it’s really hot in the summer I have the french windows to the balcony open which usually cools things down in the bedroom. I’d better go and check to see if one of my cats is on a blade. No need, they are both asleep in the salon with me 😀
      49+1% ? Oh, you are clever ! 🙄

    • Hi AmyRose 😀 Yes, I am fine and feeling so much better now that I have stopped all treatments. No more worries of hospital visits etc. I’m just learning to live with my condition.
Oh, I have been posting. Nobody notices it though. lol
Yes, I think we have just been missing each other my friend.
      Love back. Ralph xox ❤

      • Ralph, you made a very brave and huge choice. I applaud you for your courage and your deciding that quality of Life is preferred to quantity. Chemotherapy is horrendous to go through and many times the treatment itself kills. There are so many alternatives to chemotherapy yet because of money, chemo wins out. Sad state this world is in. I am SO happy to hear you are feeling better. YAY!!! ❤

      • Thank you so much for giving me that boost AmyRose. Although I still have vibrating hands especially when holding something and added to that balance problems, I don’t have the pressures and lack of control of my life which the hospital took from me, especially as they were filling me with chemicals which frightened me to death when Googling the side effects. So I said, enough is enough as whatever they did there was no change in my condition. I did try acupuncture, but she worked too far away. A day’s travelling and almost €150 per session inc. her work, travelling and a bite to eat.
A few months down the line, I find that I am better at home with caring friends. 😀
Thank you again my friend 😀 ❤

      • Ralph, if you can get your body into an alkaline state, you will feel even better. No sugar, no white flower, no red meat, and drinking Bragg’s apple Cider vinegar, 2 tablespoons with one whole squeezed lemon, and 1/8 teaspoon baking soda in a large glass of water … will help immensely. I don’t know if you can afford organic but I highly recommend organic. Drink tons of fresh water too. I know I just threw a lot at you. Cancer thrives in acid and unfortunately the American diet is acid. It’s a whole other way to live and believe me it takes time. If you just try drinking the drink I mentioned that would help a lot. It doesn’t taste too good and it will foam due to the baking soda. I hate to see anyone suffering. I hope some of my suggestions you are able to do. ❤

      • Okay. Thanks AmyRose. As I am living in Spain and being fed and watered by my Spanish neighbour. I’ll show her your suggestions tomorrow and she should be able to get most of those items as she works in a supermarket as well. Thanks again 😀

      • I spoke to my neighbour Toni this afternoon and showed her your comment in Spanish. She immediately sent two of her children to the local shop who returned with the baking soda and apple vinegar. No lemons ! Tomorrow ! The amazing thing is that her father had an operation a few months ago and is drinking the same things. Thanks AmyRose 😀

      • You are SO very welcome, Ralph!!! I am SO glad someone agreed with me about the apple vinegar and baking soda!!! I know this works. In fact, I must make a drink today!!! Best of luck, my friend!!! ❤

  2. Oh Ralph, really? You want to improve upon your present blog posts? NOT POSSIBLE! My favorites of all time are your kitties pulling things over on you, when they talk behind your back. I laugh my head off. Just keep doing those and I’ll be happy ! 😀

    • I’ll consider my wrist slapped then Mandy 😀
In fact I was very late drafting a post this week and didn’t have time to set up the photos etc. So this post is, say, an intermission. (Soft drinks and popcorn on sale in the foyer).
Thanks for your feedback my friend. It does help me to hide under the table and cry. 😀 lol.

      (c) is a frightening reality as the police can stop and arrest anyone nowadays for no reason. They make it up as they go along.
And ( j ). Even scarier. Obama has basically trashed the US and wants his Islamic war in the Middle East (well, everywhere).
      I like ( a ) myself 😀
Take care my friend. Ralph xox ❤

  4. Well since I didn’t answer your question, I would like to see d, um the quote of the day, and more about your cats. Stay away from politics … just too scary and really sad. We hopefully know the truth so keeping a positive spin on life is so beneficial. Gee, did I do OK?

    • The cats are very popular, so my next post will have them as you twisted my arm Cookie. I don’t cook as I’m dangerous in the kitchen …… where is the kitchen by the way ? lol Ralph xox ❤

  7. Have you been training your cats, Ralph!? They’re acrobatic – they could always go in for the circus! 😀 But they you’d miss them too much and us all too! All options are great but Samantha and Sonic must be in there somewhere – they’re so part of your blog and you. Warmest wishes, take care.

  8. Ralph, in my view you are at your best when you relate your own experiences or adventures enhanced with your characteristic wit
and accompanied funny photos rather than creating based on other peoples’ expectations but all is welcome as your posts are usually arresting.

  9. Okay!
I would like to see more Blog Posts where S&S would interview other bloggers’ Kittens & Cats.
    J & J would accept an interview, but think it should be stretched into 2 interviews…1 for J, & 1 for J.
You could become the “Red Carpet” for cats!
In the meantime… are you still accepting goofy pics? I need to get permission from the photographer who took the one of me graffing.
    _Resa xoxo ❤ #<

    • That’s a great idea dear Resa. Interviews, eh ? We could work something out by email. Maybe you could send me some J&J photos and the pros and cons of living with mom Resa. From that I could set up an interview post 😀
Yes please, do send a goofy photo. I have received only one “normal” photo so far. I’ll do a reminder on my next post. So no rush, December 2030 is the closing date. lol No, when I get 3 or 4 photos !
Have a lovely evening my friend. Ralph xoxoxox ❤ #<

      • Okay!
Sherrie took the pic of me & I just need to get her permission first. It really is goofy! You would have to give her the photo credit.
I did post it over a year ago, as part of a larger art experience.
Okay. I am a tad busy, but will get some J&J pics together for you.
        Get your questions together!!

      • Okay, I’ll give Sherrie the credit if and when the photo is posted.
I’ve sent you an email with my cats’ questions. I am looking forward to what they have to say for themselves 😀
Have a lovely day dear friend. 😀 ❤ xoxoxo #<

  11. A very colorful “i” sounds interesting . . . HAHAHA😂😂😂 sounds like something the cat would say right before she smacks my face at 3 a.m. demanding that I move over and give her my pillow >••< I hope you are doing well Ralph.

    • So funneee Willow. Not for you, but in just reading what you go through. What a girl cat !
Sonic snorts and puffs about 2 inches from my face while I’m asleep to be let in under the bed clothes. If I do nothing, he gets in such a state, he sneezes all over my face. Once under, he starts digging and purring. Humans can’t win can they ?
I’m fine. I hope you are okay today my friend. Ralph xox ❤

  12. Hi, sweetie. While reading through the comments I saw you’d stopped all treatments. That was very brave and I’m so happy you’re feeling better. Sometimes the cure is worse than the disease and most especially in your case where it apparently was no cure at all. On a much lighter note, I love number n. I always wondered what those other 49% are. 😀 Take care, my dear. Much love and hugs. Elizabeth ❤

    Liked by 1 person

    • Hello dear Elizabeth 😀
Yep ! All stopped ! I must admit although the symptoms are still the same I do feel better psychologically. Still daft as a bag of kittens. How are you my friend. You have been quiet for a while. I hope everything is okay ?
Yes, “n” is a puzzle. Leslie said 49%+1% is our other half. It surely is a mathematical problem 🙄
Lots of love & hugs. Ralph xox ❤

    • Heehee. I am sure that there are many retired sons or daughters still living with their mums out there somewhere.
I hope you are having a great week Georgia my friend. Ralph xox ❤

  13. Soooooo funny. I think I live with my guinea pigs, rather than they live with me – I am a piggy slave, but so glad Snow is better and home with me, with Chestnut now. Her first night back and she wasn’t well, but she is okay now x

  14. Hi Ralph, I love to see new posts about when you’re going out in your neighbourhood, (also if you go only to your local baker to buy bread), make a trip, go for dinner by friends and you make them say funny things, these are always very amusing posts for me ! Because you’re always so very funny and clever inventing what other peoples could be saying or not …………….. 🙂 !
