    • Hi Jami. I’m not sure what the vultures had, but I suspect a sheep as there was a flock of sheep on top of the same hill. If it was a whale it must have been a heck of a big bird to bring it up here in the mountains ๐Ÿ˜‰ Hugs. Ralph xox โค

One of them we had to take to the groomers and he’s all perfumey and shiny. I love sniffing him but he hates it.

Uh oh ! I am sure your cats hated their baths Diahann, but as you say, when finished they smell great. Luckily mine never get fleas as they are house/balcony cats. They wash each other usually ending up with a little fight.

I have had my cats all their lives so I generally know what they are saying; stroke, let out, late being fed, wanting to play, etc. and they do talk….non-stop ! I hope your cats don’t get too jealous of sparkly Sonic. I’ll pass on your greetings. Thank you, they say ! (They are very polite as I brought them up well ๐Ÿ˜‰ ) Big hug. Ralph xox โค

  13. Thanks again for stopping by my blog and leaving comments and likes, including one for “Pomegranate Blossoms.” Sadly, I am not sparkly clean. After driving around in busy traffic behind garbage trucks and large construction vehicles, I am usually pretty dusty by the end of the day.

However, I did enjoy this fun post. ๐Ÿ™‚ Samantha and Sonic are so cute, and I liked the sparkles too. ๐Ÿ™‚

Do the vultures come by your area regularly, or is this a rare occurrence? I am glad that I don’t see vultures flying overhead when I step out in my backyard.

    • Hello Arlene. That’s quite a day you had. I hope it’s not like that every day with all that dust.

I am so pleased that you enjoyed this sparkly post. The sparkles have worn off Sonic now ๐Ÿ˜‰

Normally the vultures fly around in much smaller groups about once a week.

Have a lovely weekend my friend. Ralph xox โค

      • Sacramento gets pretty dusty during spring and summer when it does not rain very much. However, getting stuck behind those large dirty vehicles while I drive to and from work does not help. I work part-time, so fortunately I do not have to drive behind them every day. ๐Ÿ™‚

The sparkles on Sonic were fun to see, but I guess the magic had to wear off sometime. ๐Ÿ˜‰

I am glad to know that a large group of vultures are not circling you every day. ๐Ÿ™‚

I hope you have a wonderful weekend too, Ralph. ๐Ÿ™‚

      • Hi Arlene. I have just Googled Sacramento. Wow, a big city ! And I now understand why you say it’s dusty. The news channels in Europe have been covering the water restrictions in California. I hope you get lots of rain this year. I hope we get rain here in southern Spain as we have had so little this winter, so I expect the water will be turned off at night again this summer. Happy Sunday ! ๐Ÿ˜€

        Liked by 1 person

      • Yes, Sacramento used to be considered a small cow town, but it has grown a lot over the years. There has been a drought in California over the past few years, and the water restrictions are increasing each year. Right now we are supposed to water our plants only twice a week and now the state government is planning to give people hefty fines if they use too much water. I am not sure how they will enforce this, however.

What is both funny and sad is that there is a nonprofit water organization trying to encourage people in California to choose a five-minute song to shower to with the goal that they should be done with their shower by the time the song ends. Who would have thought we would be reduced to “shower songs” here in California?

I am sorry to hear that you are also having water shortage problems in your part of the world. Wow, they shut your water off at night! ๐Ÿ˜ฆ It sounds like your water shortage is worse than ours. I hope you get more rain in your area too so that they won’t have to do that this summer.

I also hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend, Ralph. ๐Ÿ™‚

      • Thank you, Ralph. We do need rain. We probably will not get much more in the near future. The rainy season usually ends here in June, and it is already May. We will have to wait and see what happens this coming fall and winter.

I hope you get more rain where you live too! Living with less water is not easy. I hope you enjoy Sunday too as well as the new week ahead, Ralph. Take care. ๐Ÿ™‚

      • Greetings! Yes I had a bit of a Ralph over-dose after having been away for so long! I just couldn’t stop reading, chortling and “liking” all over the place. BlueFishWay is very addictive. There should be an advisory.

I concur. I think they did arrive in a swarm in my honour. They’re constantly flocking around me wherever I go…just never where there is a body to be found, the sparkly-eyed little blighters. Where there are bodies, there are skulls, and I love skulls. I have a small collection of skulls and crave more. I found the skull of a young deer a few weeks ago. It is on the dashboard of the car for decoration. I have no idea why I’m telling you this, Ralph…perhaps I have confused you with a therapist. Or perhaps I just have a Ralph-hangover.

Anyhow, thanks so much for the grins. Every visit is always an immense joy. Glad to see you had your last treatment, as well. Hope and trust all is well with you and the fine felines, there, in the Spanish mountains. Sir sends his regards.
