House Trained

This post is dedicated to Wendy who uses the train sometimes.

Would you get off and visit me ?

( I shouldn’t if I was you as you may leave with 2 crazy cats in your bag { and me ! } if you do leave that isΒ  πŸ˜‰ )

Ralph xox ❀

All these photographs were taken on my front balcony in Andalucia, Spain.

(Next week I may try to post something different. Can’t wait !)

  2. πŸ™‚ I live by a train track, I love the sounds, well not the horns at 3am πŸ™‚
Your cats speak English very well πŸ™‚
and yes I would stop off for a visit with all of y’all
    Wonderful images ….

    • Glad you like trains maryrose. I agree with the noise at night. There is only one freight train that comes through here at 4am and it doesn’t exactly tiptoe through the village πŸ˜‰
Although they have a Spanish mother my cats talk incessantly. I use Google Translate ! Heehee πŸ˜€
You would also be very welcome my friend.
Thank you. You matter too. Hugs. Ralph xox ❀

  3. Oh dear Ralph – such a silly question.
Of course I would stop by to visit you & your kiddies if I were on that train!

  4. Ralph, love those crazy cats! Of course I’d stop for a visit any day! You’re getting very clever with your blog site (tickle the fish), and all the other widgets! Happy Week! Hope you’re feeling well. Christine

    • Of course you would be welcome Christine. My door is always open. I hope I don’t have too many widgets for your device to load. I’m okay and a happy week to you too my friend. Ralph xox ❀

  5. Darling Ralph,
I would get off the train and visit you.
I’d make you dinner, and invite Toni and her family over.
I’d drink your wine with dinner.
If you did not have food or wine, I would go out and buy it. (fruit juice or sparkling water for all others)
I’d invite more of your friends, and add a few more courses, if you’d like.
We would all cram the balcony and windows to watch the train go by.
I would not steal the cats, but I would leave the dishes for them to clean.
You would do a funny post about it.
    Much love to you,

    • You are hired as my party planner Resa ! Of course you would be welcome to stay. May I suggest a slight modification to your party plans. Why not just fill the apartment with wine bottles and have a real Spanish holiday ? You won’t remember it, but, hey, who would believe you when you tell your friends that the cats washed the dishes ?
Have a lovely week my dear friend. Love back !

    • lol. As this is the only criteria of you visiting me Katie you would be very welcome so long as you are certified …… as being house trained yourself πŸ˜‰ I hope you will have a good week my friend. Ralph xox ❀

      Liked by 1 person

      • I will look into getting that certification stamped on my passport. Although it may be difficult to visit when they detrain me for asking…or is that detain? Take care my friend. 8)

  6. Not get off the train to see you? Goodness me, the very idea. Of course I would stop to see you. Although you might not want to see me because I am allergic to cats. They make me sneeze a lot.

  7. It looks so green around you already, lovely. It is nice to see the view from your balcony again and I remember it so well. One day I have to visit again….

    • It is green Ute ! Hilda is complaining that as soon as she cuts her hedges she has to start over again as they are growing so fast. I am pleased that you remember and my door is always open for you my friend. Have a lovely week. Ralph xox ❀

  8. yay for trains! the only draw back to living where we do is that the nearest train station is over an hours drive away – boo hoo! not liking the look of those black clouds in your photos. Hope it’s better weather this week xox

    • That’s a shame you are living so far away from a train Lottie. Boo hoo ! The cats were out on the front balcony last Thursday watching the swallows swoop by so I thought it would be great to photograph the cats and trains even though the skies were black. Since then it’s been lovely as you may have noticed. Ralph xox ❀

    • Yay ! You would be very welcome Beth !
No. The cats don’t cook. I did have one that tried. You remember Star, the kitten ? She used to lay on the electric hob with a paw on the controls and the hob went haywire, beeping and flashing. Oh boy ! πŸ˜€ Ralph xox ❀

    • That would be lovely if you visited me Daniela. It’s almost just across the road for you my friend πŸ˜‰ lol Ralph xox ❀

  9. You have great views from your balcony Ralph! Your little village looks idyllic and summer looks to be just around the corner for you. I think your cats are awesome … so thoughtful …. and I bet they’re great company. I’ll be interested to see a post without them – you’ve included them in a lot recently. Perhaps you’ll be thinking about the perils of the tourists next. Do you keep away from Malaga and such places in the summer? One of my sons goes to Malaga quite often on business and says it’s chaotic in the summer. Keep well and look after yourself. Millie πŸ™‚

    • Thanks Millie. I love the views too. It’s forecast to be a very hot summer this year.
Yes. My cats are great company and love to be around me.
I DO keep away from Malaga except for the airport or the hospital, both of which are this side, just out of the city limits thank heavens. I did drive in the city once, never again ! I hope your son uses taxis while there.
Have a lovely week my friend. Ralph xox ❀

  10. Well, I was going to get off, until you mentioned ‘not leaving’ then things became reminiscent of; Kathy Bates in Misery, or would that be; Ralph Bates? ❀ xox

  11. Ralph, for some reason I keep coming up as anonymous on your comments, are you trying to tell me something. Julie

    • Something has gone wonky with WP Julie. Your comment and Millie’s above came up twice. Usually where there are no names in an anonymous comment I trash the comment as I’ve been hit with tons of spam before, thinking a comment was genuine. It was the ” ❀ xox " that clinched that someone knew me. πŸ˜€ Oh, and your Like came up normally. I hope normal service will resume as soon as possible. Big hug. Ralph xox ❀

  12. You may have to get a much bigger apartment with all the groupies who are clamouring to detrain at your stop. Count me in, and may I please snuggle with Samantha a lot? I love her eyes. Do you have nice eyes like that? It’s not a deal beaker if you don’t. πŸ™‚ oxo ❀

    Liked by 1 person

    • I was thinking the same thing Yvonne. I wonder if my apartment is the same as Dr Who’s Tardis ? Samantha likes to be near. She won’t give up her sleeping place on my office chair. I am sitting on the edge typing while she is behind me curled up and purring. I have eyes, yes ! πŸ˜‰ Ralph xox ❀

    • I agree and it’s very wise of you LB. The modern train in this post stops at the village station and the other is a through train. Ralph xox ❀

  13. Sadly the cute cats make me sneeze and my eyes start to run. But apart from that I’d like to stop. Trains are a good way of travelling.

  14. Of course we (my daughter and her Persian cat fluffy would love too )would stop by and visit you even while the driver keeps honking for us to return. Your village seems so rustic and welcoming.

    • The three of you would be most welcome skd. Oh, and bring the driver too. Can’t have the neighbours, sheep and goats complaining of all that honking, can we ? πŸ˜‰ lol. Ralph xox ❀

I also love Andalucia so will with pleasure get off that train…hoping it is not
    a non-stop.

    • Thank you so much for your lovely comment Mirja and I hope the train is non-stop too πŸ˜€ Ralph xox ❀
