Fun With Israelis By The Dead Sea

Wow ! I returned to my Jerusalem hotel last night after experiencing the most fun packed 24 hour overnight visit to the Dead Sea. My blogging friend  Heila  and her friend Yuval invited me to go with them on this adventure. We stayed the night in a room on a mountain top overlooking the Dead Sea. During the day we visited a nature reserve and a spa, but most of all we had FUN, 24 hours of it ( except for Yuval’s snoring…….I won’t marry him !!). Thank you so much dear friends.

So, please come with us and enjoy this slideshow of 74 photos.

It is so nice to finish my 2 week holiday in Jerusalem on a high. I am flying back to Spain tomorrow night with an extra “suitcase” full of wonderful memories. Thank you Israel and the West Bank for my trip of a life time.

See you in Spain !

I hope you enjoyed my holiday in Jerusalem with me. Did you ?

    • Hi Heila 😀 Firstly, thank you so much for making my holiday special. Our two meetings are memories which I will treasure. Comments and emails are great but to meet a fellow blogger such as yourself is 1000% better. And for you and Yuval to take me on the overnight tour of the Dead Sea was an out of this world fun experience. I honestly don’t know whether I will return to Israel, if not my home is always open to you and Yuval in Spain. Hugs, kisses and goodbye my dear friend. Ralph xox ❤

  9. Welcome home, Ralph! Looks like you had a great time! Was the water salty? Is it good to be home? Were your cats relieved to see you back?

    • Hi SDHD my friend 😀 I did not go into the Dead Sea as I was advised not to as I had a huge open blister on my big toe from wearing new sandals. It would have been agony if I did enter the salt water. It’s great to be home. I am still in holiday mood though. My cats were unsure when I entered my home and called them. They ran off into the bedroom, turned round and ran to me talking all the time ready for their first stroke and they haven’t stopped following me since my arrival home. Ralph xox ❤

      • Aww.. that’s so cute. They obviously missed you. 🙂
I just came back from Utah, and was told that Brigham Young chose to settle in Salt Lake City because the salty lake reminded him of the Dead Sea. Even the water in the swimming pools and coming out of the taps was salty, I gather due to the salt lake – was wondering if it was the same for you. I’m glad you didn’t go into the lake with your toe though!

      • We were told not to drink the tap water by the Dead Sea, so we used bottled water. Amazingly during the whole trip I didn’t have a tummy bug problem at all. 😀

  10. Dear Friend Ralph,

Sounds like the perfect vacation – fun and energizing. There’s nothing like spending quality time with good friends, and having some adventures to boot!

    • Hi Nancy 😀 Thank you and I agree with your comment wholeheartedly. It was definitely worth going out with them. They are so much fun. Hugs. Ralph xox ❤

  11. Such a lovely realistic photos you made and you look good with that hat Ralph, what a great time you had their together with that simpatico couple ) 🙂 !

    • Hi Serach 😀 It was REAL ! As is the HAT ! I’m not real though 😉 Yes, we had a great time. I hope you and your family are having fun as I type. Hugs. Ralph xox ❤
