It’s fantastic to have friends and neighbours who drop everything to help. Thank you so much !! 🙂
November last year I was going through a series of tests in Ronda hospital, Spain, to find out why my hands were shaking. 5 days of Xrays, blood, you name it and they found nothing wrong with me. As a cop out, the old neurologist lady doctor said it was genetic and I was depressed. Go home and take these tablets for ever.
My young lady case doctor in the hospital (who I fell in love with when she ripped off my shirt one day 🙂 ) she knew that there was something missing. A few months later I saw a different neurologist, a young lady ( whom I also fell in love with 🙂 ) who gave me different tests and just knew what was wrong with me.
I scraped myself out of bed this morning and was making the first coffee of the day (thinking about you Katrina !!) and my interpreter rang. It is unheard of, for, on this morning, a Saturday, my young neurologist called my interpreter. She was so excited, almost wetting herself that her diagnosis of Lewis Sumner (CIDP) is correct !!
Because of that she is admitting me into a ward for a week or so of tests and a possible cure !! So in three days time, Tuesday, in I go again. I will be off-line, as there is no wifi and reception is poor in the hospital.
I hope there IS a cure !!
