The life of Ralph, Natascha and our cats
Every other Thursday is market day in Cortes de la Frontera, Andalucia, Spain. Not much to write home about, but handy if you need women’s clothes or women’s clothes or……..
I have been wanting to write a post about the local market for a while and this Thursday was such a lovely day so I twisted my arm and went for it. I hope you enjoyed the walk with David and I ?

Ralph, did you buy anything there? π
I see there are more items than just clothing. I think they call it “flee market” here. There are all sort of things there. It is fun check them out once in awhile.

Hi YC π
No. I hardly ever buy anything in the market, maybe fluorescent underwear and I did buy a suede coat for β¬3 once.
I think you meant to say “flea market” but I love “flee market” ……… it’s a man thing !! Ralph xox π

Hi Ute π Along the Costa del Sol, especially near Marbella, the market prices are high compared to here in the mountains. So yes, many bargains locally. Ralph xox π

‘hahaha’ – in my youth, you know, right after the Middle Ages – I was on interrailing through Europe – on a marketplace in Rome – there was a market stall where there was a young same aged black-haired beauty who sold fruits – not forbidden fruit, but real fruit – I was immediately in love;-) – but the problem was that her mother led the market stall with an iron fist – and probably she didn’t like young danish men – so she threatened me with both tomatoes and potatoes π – but the mother had been up early and fell early asleep – so it was a nice night out with her ββdaughter and all her friends… π π

I think that the reason my youngest daughter goes is to be healthy but my reason is to have something homemade that has nice ingredients like butter in it! So, often I will choose a spinach cheese muffin that is so delicious! I would have a dozen or so if I baked but by buying one and a blueberry one, too, I have helped a local person that did the work and end up with a nice breakfast snack at work! Thanks for liking my posts and reading all the ones you did way back when!
