I am so sorry that I have not been visiting your posts recently. Building works, medical problems and resting causing me to cut my blogging time way back. Answering emails and comments are my priorities at this time. I do hope that normal service will resume in August. Thanks for putting up with me dear friends πŸ™‚

  1. oh good something to lust over! **for ME not for YOU

about the walkabout though…i said to myself, “How the He..what if there is a fever and no medicine on the closed days!?!” Then I remembered where I grew up, and one is always prepared. Stores did not used to be open 24 hours a day πŸ™‚ (pardon my grammar lost on choppy comments)

    So Friday everything is closed???
I hope you are friends with the pharmacist so if, God forbid, you need something, you could call him!
I didn’t understand what you wrote about “medical problems” and “resuming in August”?? Are you ok?? …I miss you already πŸ˜€

    • Hi my dear friend Pelly πŸ˜€ I would like to see a similar post about a Greek village for me to compare the two.
No. The shops are open all week except for their siesta between 2pm and 5pm, closing Saturday afternoon and Sunday.
This is our local village pharmacy. The main towns kilometres away have a rotary schedule of pharmacies at weekends and holidays.
My medical problems are detailed in my other blog http://livinginspainalonewithparkinsonsdisease.com/
At the moment I am so busy with real life issues that I have to spend less hours blogging which means I can’t do everything I used to. Bear with me. I’ll be a full time blogger again in the future.
I hope you had fun shoots last weekend. I hope to see some of your work soon.

Place your cursor over the slideshow. You will see three black circles come up. Click on the centre one with the two vertical lines which will stop the slideshow (a triangle will appear). Then click either the left or right arrow to move to an adjacent picture, keep clicking to manually see all the photographs. Restart the slideshow clicking on the centre triangle.

      • Thank you Ralph. I need those prayers and I pray for you as well. Do you smoke? I smoked a little but nicotine was like poison to me and I think one of the things that has contributed to me being so ill. There are several things that all fell into place along with stress which took me down. It is a slow road to heal- some ok days and then some days of utter fatigue and depression- afraid that I will die before I have certain things accomplished.

        Like

      • I have smoked for 50 years Yvonne. Not the same cigarette I must say πŸ˜‰ I gave up manufactured cigarettes about 30 years ago and I roll plain tobacco, which is a useful measure of my hands. There are times when there is no way I can roll a cigarette by hand, but when I am okay I may roll half a dozen. My chest Xray is clear and I have never had a cough since giving up manufactured cigarettes. I never smoke indoors as I hate the smell of old cigarette smoke and it discolours walls and ceilings. My doctor in Ronda hospital always gives me a resigned smile when she asks how my smoking is going and I reply with an it’s okay thank you πŸ˜€

I am sure you will pick up and accomplish those certain things. Chin up and it’s a lovely day, enjoy it πŸ˜€

  18. Such a beautiful walk, MFR. I’m always trailing behind. So sorry. I’ll run and catch up. I had to wait for the train to go by. Then I spotted an place to have ice cream, that you forgot to include. You forgot to include the best eye candy – #1 Ralph . OH well, next time. Enjoy your cold shower tonight. It should feel good after two long walks in the heat. Sponge baths work if you don’t want to get squirted with cold water! Lots of love to you MFR. xoxoxoxxoxoxox but, only if you take your bath, like a good boy. P.S. Manny whispered in my ear, “If I go see Ute, will she take me with her and Danny to got see El Manni and El Danni?” I guess that’s more of a question to ask Ute, but thought you might want to get prepared for an extra visitor. πŸ™‚ You can’t smoke around him, though – even outside. πŸ™‚ xoxox

    • Come on MVBF Marsha ! Hurry up ! That was a near miss with the train. I thought you were a goner, but you’re okay thank heavens. Whew ! You do get my heart racing sometimes. We had an ice cream while we waited for you.

I had my cold shower but not a full on spray for 10 minutes, more like fits and starts. I may do a post on having a cold shower πŸ˜‰

Manny is very welcome to come to Spain with Ute. I may teach Manny to smoke, party and chase the senoritas. πŸ˜‰ Ralph xox πŸ˜€

      Like

      • NOOOOOOOOOOOO You may NOT teach Manny to smoke. The smell can’t be washed out of his fur with a cold shower, or even a warm fuzzy bath, like he enjoys so much. I think he wants to go see Ute to take a bath with all her bears, and play in the water! That’s HIS idea of a party – no clothes and plenty of water and suds! hahaha

I like the idea of your post on taking a cold shower. Did you have a party there like Manny would have loved? Did you do it after another long HOT walk? Then it MIGHT feel good.

BTW the ice cream there is awesome. I had chocolate, vanilla and caramel mixed together. What did you have?

This is becoming a post in itself! bye bye, dear Ralph. Thanks for the nice walk/run to keep up. Must be the long legs! πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚ xoxoxox

        Like

      • Okay. No smoking. Maybe he would like the beer or a glass of red wine followed by a wikky (Spanish for whisky). He’s getting to be a big boy now as he is learning to drive your Prius so he should party and chase the senoritas. I didn’t see any objection to those two pursuits. He seems to enjoy baths but not alone. Goodness knows what would happen if Manny, Danny, El Manni and El Danni had a teddy bear bath together. πŸ˜€

I wonder if Manny, Danny and Ute would like to go to the top of the Rock of Gibraltar and see the apes and play on the cannons ?

I had coffee ice cream with chocolate and mint. πŸ˜€
