  1. So… who fixed that “6”? πŸ™‚

“A car passed by, must be rush hour”… Haha! That’s why I love your blog, there’s always a fun detail! You’re such a great person!

Happy Birthday to the Norwegian friend! May he live 69 years more!

    • Hi Julita. Among the group we have a Finance Director who knows about numbers, can count and do cool things like that. It wasn’t that person who saw that something was not quite right !! πŸ˜‰

Thanks my dear friend Julita for commenting on the excitement raised as the car passed by.

I will pass your happy birthday message on to Einar.

I hope you have a lovely week up there in the north of Spain. Ralph xox πŸ˜€

      • As they say, the shoemaker walks in broken shoes…

And the car… I wish you all more exciting pass-byers.

        Wish you a great week!

      • It gets really exciting when a donkey races past at 1km/hr πŸ˜‰
Have fun Julita my friend. Ralph xox :d

    • hehe !! Maybe he is and retired here !! Who knows !! πŸ˜†

Big hug Linda .Ralph xox πŸ˜€

    • Cinderellas are always welcome my dear friend Wanda. You may have to bring your own Prince as there are none around here πŸ˜‰ But NO ugly sisters, okay ?? πŸ˜† Hugs Ralph xox πŸ˜€

      • Ugly sisters are everywhere! We can to pacify an angry women with smiles and “sweet treat” πŸ™‚

      • Okay. Will do. I am already prepared for that with my last post on nutrition πŸ˜‰

  2. If he blows out the candles quick enough, they can be used for his 99th birthday too! Recycling! Nice to sit outside to have a party in April. I hope you were not too disturbed by this one car traffic jam in the rush hour. πŸ™‚ glad you all enjoyed it with champagne and cake, the way to go for a birthday party. I shall remember for mine!

    • No chance of that dear Ute. He took so long deciding what to wish for, the flames were getting higher, it was getting hot. I was starting to think that we may be water bombed. I was panicking………

………but just at that moment he blew out the flames. Whew !! πŸ˜€

No, a traffic jam here is more than one goat in the road, an old lady walking down the middle of the road or when a car stops in the middle of the road so that the driver can talk to his friend for half an hour. Ralph xox πŸ˜€

      • If that happened in London,( the chatting to the friend) no one would know what the drivers would do, I would stay well clear! πŸ™‚

  3. What a nice celebration party, Happy Birthday to him. Numbers should be wrong… Young handsome gentlemen! Blessing and Happiness to you All. Thanks and Love, nia

    • πŸ˜€ I have to laugh my dear friend Nia when you say “Numbers should be wrong…” .. That must be the motto of all the crazy people running the Banks of the world. πŸ˜†

On behalf of my friends, who are all now totally infatuated by you saying “Young handsome gentlemen!”, thank you and have a lovely week in Istanbul. Ralph xox πŸ˜€

  4. Looks as if a good time was had by all. Just the one number is backwards and you wrote that he is 69 years old. Actually I turned my computer upside down to verify his age. However, it looks as if one letter is backwards and the other letter is upside down and maybe could be used as the number (6). πŸ™‚

    • Thanks Yvonne. Yes. We had a great time.
Have you ever worked in a top banking position? You really know how to turn numbers all ways and even turn your computer over πŸ˜‰

Have a lovely week. Ralph xox πŸ˜€

      • II amm strill snickering and no, I’m not kin to a horse that I now of-justr banking people. I’m joking. No bankers in my family. You are too funny for words. Apparently you missed your calling somehow, somewhere.

I think life in Spain is a good one. So nice to be a part of the English and Norwegian expats or maybe they are all Spaniards- Just guessing here since I think you wrote that ya’ll speak, English, Engleeeesh or a mix of English and Spanish which could be called Englanish. In Texas we call it TexMex.
        Teehee. ~yvonne~ xxx

      • We were all from the UK except for a Spanish couple and a Norwegian. No TexMex here πŸ˜€

  5. Happy Birthday to Einar. I like the setting that it is open and near the road for some reason. It looks like a fun party.

    • Thank you so much YC. It is near the road because the bar was built there or maybe someone was planning a quick getaway πŸ˜‰ We had fun thank you. Big hug. Ralph xox πŸ˜€

  6. Looks like you had a wonderful time celebrating Einar’s birthday!
You had me cracking up at rush hour & Time’s Square πŸ˜†
    xo Saludos y Abrazos xo

    • I am so pleased that you had fun my dear friend RoSy. Have a lovely day. Ralph xox πŸ˜€

  7. A party that continues from day into the night must be a cracker. I should think that by the time the cake came out no one would know what numbers were on the cake. It’s nice to see a good birthday celebration.

  8. So I see that you all have enjoyed Einar’s birthday and had a lovely evening, I liked it to view the slideshow πŸ™‚

    • Thank you so much my dear friend Shiro. We had a great time and I am pleased that you enjoyed the slide show. Ralph xox πŸ˜€

    • Hi my dear friend Daniela. I was going to comment with just a hi on your new post but I thought it to be inappropriate So you have my number. Is my number up? πŸ˜‰ Ralph xox πŸ˜€

      • Your number is always up … as long as this means something nice -:)!

  9. “Einar told us of his interesting life in Norway and Spain, which sent us all off to sleep.” You’re so funny Ralph! Oh wait. I bet you’re tired of hearing that.

    • Boring !! And you are the first one to mention it, my friend Rynna πŸ˜‰ Ralph xox πŸ˜€
