Ralph’s Big Blog Experiment

  1. I have decided to experiment to see whether it is possible to receive comments without a post. If I do, let’s see where we end up. Am I crazier than usual ?

    • Nooooooooooooooooo I DO declare this is cheating!! It is a blog under the blogless!!! My woohoo basket has the lights blinking and flashing in anticipation of making up surprises placed into it. I sooooo love making up unbalance thingies that make that light get excited!! Oh, wait it just went off, the glee and clapping from the use of my imagination evened things up. Damn, now I have to plot! OH, hey, if it is not too much to ask from someone on the short list, might I have a plotting chair over in the corner, besides it would be a good visual way to alert you of the plot. I hope you are well. Kisses forehead and then runs.

      • Calm down Elisa, calm down !! Go and sit down over there and calm down. I have had the best scientists from the Bluefish Way Labs working on this experiment ……… my two cats πŸ˜‰ It’s not cheating as it took a lot of thought for about 2 seconds to draft this post, and there are 25 comments already. Thanks for the forehead kiss. Ralph x

  2. A post title from Ralph seems to be enough to get me here – that’s worth a like!

    • Hi Lyann. Curious ? And JUST a post title is enough to get your comment juices flowing. Ralph x

    • Yes, hugs from afar Carol Ann. I never expected one comment and there is 10 within an hour. So why were you curious ?

      • Oh. You are so sweet Julita. I am curious as well. Maybe it will stay on a curious theme or go off in some strange direction ……….facebook perhaps πŸ˜‰

    • This is an experiment Katie to see if you guys/gals are daft enough to comment when there is no post. In the true spirit of Christmas Carol I am only following your lead when you told me that the Christmas cookies you baked were poisoned and thrown away when I asked you for one. But, I do have a present for you. An answer to your comment by me in person is the gift I bestow upon you, gift wrapped and sealed with my love. πŸ˜€

    • Hi Jennifer. I do !! Well, at least you were kind enough to comment which proves the totally useless point of the experiment. And you get a hug. Ralph x

  4. That’s quite an experiment, however, if you hadn’t written the first comment your experiment probably would’ve been a bust. πŸ˜‰

    Like

    • Truuuuue !! So the experiment was tarnished by my first comment Nym. I didn’t think of that. BUT. The readers had no clue of this until they opened the comments. So they were drawn by the headline and were curious, read my comment and commented. Which you did. I still think someone would have made a comment anyway. Would you have done ?

      Like

      • I dunno, it’s hard to say if I would’ve commented. I might’ve said something like “Dude, there’s no content” or just left considering that you are on my list of subscribed blogs so I generally play favoritism to the blogs that I enjoy reading.

        Like

      • Wow. That is really great to know Nym that you are playing the favouritism card. That is really nice of you even though I posted nothing. A true friend πŸ˜€

    • So you are, Sage, so you are. Just out of idle curiosity, why have you commented.? This is an experimental survey to determine something I haven’t thought of yet. Is it because you are bored and had nothing to do OR you are interested in Bluefish Way science projects OR you came over for a chat OR you are just daft enough to comment about nothing. πŸ˜‰ By the way I am confused, are you male or female ? 21. I nearly plummeted into this very experiment, myself, having posted a blank post the other night. Oh bother. But I, lacking bravery and wit, decided to edit and plop photos and a quoted poem into the post and skulked away in shame…but I wondered (although, not so much, the answer is pretty obvious, it would have been a “bust” as they say).

And Now seeing it here, I could not restrain myself from this performance of conformity by commenting amongst this sea of commenters, making myself a very daft, but at least somewhat self-aware, oaf that cannot stifle an impulse to make the fingers dance….

    Cheers dear matie!
