A Trip To The Coast

This slideshow requires JavaScript.

Please join David and I on our trip to the coast last Thursday. We left Estacion Cortes de la Frontera (first two photos) to feed Patrick’s cats at his house. Then on down the mountains on a rather gloomy day, past the wind turbines to Sabinillas, returning via Cesares town.

I hope you enjoyed the ride with us.

      • Yes, Ralph. Even though you say it was a ‘gloomy’ day the sun does seem to ‘poke through’ quite a lot…!

      • When we started our journey the clouds were so dark at 10am. Then suddenly, a Biblical experience, the sun rays were fantastic. We were on the move and I didn’t think the photos would come out. As we neared the coast we left the clouds behind. For months we have had bright sunshine so that trip was a special one for us πŸ˜€

  1. That was a lovely tour, thank you, I might just hop on again and go round it once more. I like the scenery and the houses. You live in a very nice spot! Ute x

    • Hi dear Ute. Such a lovely comment. Thank you. Please enjoy your hopping πŸ˜‰ Ralph x

  2. Looks like a very nice trip. Thank you for all your likes Ralph!

  3. I am definitely traveling to Spain if I ever get that check in the mail for a million dollars.

    • Thank you so much for your lovely comment Roxie. Yes, it was a wonderful journey that day. Love Ralph x

    • Hi LadyFi. I wanted to do a post on a trip that we make quite often and luckily that day the weather gave my camera lens and all of us a treat. Ralph x

    • Thank you Lada, I like Spain very much. You as well as my many blogging friends are welcome to visit. Not all at once, please. πŸ˜€ Ralph x

      • You are so sweet, Ralph! I might take you up on that one day.
I love Spain too, even considered moving there at one point. Who knows, maybe still will. πŸ™‚
I hope you are far and away from austerity, protests, etc.
How are real estate prices, btw? Hopefully have dropped lately.

  4. The world is your oyster Lada, choose carefully. Yes. I am well away from the protests but I do agree with what they are protesting about. The house prices have crashed here in Spain. I had a very good buy with this apartment and the owners were happy as well with the price. But there are a lot of mortgage evictions even here in the mountains. The expat community here are collecting food and money for our local people in need. Things are getting really bad for a lot of locals. Hugs Ralph x
